Fox & Crane

The number of times Crane has posted recently made me feel like a slacker, and I know I promised a Fullmetal Alchemist review, so here it is. I made it as spoiler free as possible, but it does contain details that might lower your appreciation of the first three episodes. You see, FMA throws you in headfirst with nothing to go off of - it’s a really effective way of grabbing the viewer straight off the bat, and very beautifully done. If you’re feeling adventurous, go pick up the first DVD and watch through it before reading this review. Then, you can decide whether you want to proceed or not, though I’d wager you’ll want to keep watching regardless of what I say here. It really is that good. (more…)

My happiness at Episode 50 dubbed on my TV reminded me that not everyone has seen Fullmetal Alchemist. I’ll write a full review of it here later - suffice to say, if you like anime and you haven’t watched it yet, you should. You really really should.
